your private license, or go all the way through your instructor ratings, 7:47 Aviation will train you
at your pace, on your time. Our easy-to-use scheduling allows you to select instructor, airplane,
and flight times that fit your schedule. The ability to move as quickly or conservatively as you
wish means financing lessons at your pace. From novices to "rusty pilots,' we're here to get the
yoke in your hands and your head in the clouds. At 7:47 aviation, it's always time to fly!

Facilities

Located right inside Chase Field's Main Hangar 1, our flight school offers a lounge area to
prepare flight routes, study, or drop by to play with everyone's favorite airport pup! We also
have two planes available for rental. If you have your own aircraft - then we can train you in
that, too. Looking for storage? Check with us for availability in the main hangar, otherwise
contact Cortland County for T-hangar rentals on-site.

Aircraft

Our planes are always kept in top condition and inspected regularly. You will learn the basics
of aircraft care and maintenance so that when you're ready to fly solo, you'll be able to do so
with confidence.

Ground school

When you're not in the air, you'll be with your instructor in our classroom discussing your most
recent and upcoming flights, material for you to study at home, and prepping for check rides
and written exams. Weather not conducive for flight? No problem. Jump on our flight simulator
and practice those flight patterns.
